DISCOVERY
In order to effectively prosecute your case you will want to obtain those documents that support it and know the case that you need to defend. In such circumstances it may be possible for you to make an application to the court and ask for discovery to be ordered. If discovery is ordered you will get a list of the documents available for inspection so that you can look at them.
The Principal Solicitor at our law firm has helped many clients apply for discovery or oppose discovery. Let us help you understand whether you are entitled to apply for discovery and if so assist you with obtaining relevant documents which will enable you to prepare your case more effectively.
Litigant is committed to helping you throughout the discovery process with competence and trust whilst all the while remaining accessible to you as our client. With more than 10 years’ worth of experience helping litigants in Sydney with approaching the court for discovery (or opposing such applications) we should be able to answer most of your questions about what discovery involves and the strategies and options available to you regarding it.
