Limited and Incorporated Partnerships

The distinction between "Limited and Incorporated Partnerships" and other types of partnerships can be important. For instance a limited partnership is not dissolved upon the death of a limited partner and if the partnership ends an appropriate notice must be lodged.

The winding up of a limited partnership is governed by the Partnership Legislation whilst an Incorporated Partnership is dealt with under the Corporations Legislation.
